Adam Steel
Science biography
I am a post-doctoral researcher in the Robertson Lab. I am interested in how sensory experience is combined with memory, especially in the context of navigation. Before coming to Dartmouth, I completed my PhD in 2019 at the University of Oxford as an NIH-Oxford Fellow. My PhD research focused on neural changes associated with learning using functional magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy.

Non-science biography

I grew up in New Jersey, and went to undergraduate at Vassar College. Running is one of my favorite things to do outside of lab - I have run marathons in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Austria. I also love to bake (and eat) sourdough bread and walk my puppy.
