Broadly, I am interested in how our multisensory experience of the world interacts with our memory, particularly how different senses add context to what we perceive and how that affects memory. Before graduate school, I was the lab manager of the Brain Bridge Lab at the University of Chicago, working with Dr. Wilma Bainbridge on the relationship between visual perception and memory.
I am from a small university town in mid-Michigan and earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan. Outside of the lab, I enjoy cultivating my houseplants and exploring new places..
